Lucie trained in Psychology (BSc) and Dance Science (MSc) prior to commencing her PhD in Dance Science Psychology at Trinity Laban. Her research is funded by the Leverhulme Trust as part of the ‘In the Dancer’s Mind: Creativity, Novelty and the Imagination’ project. Lucie is developing her research to document how creativity is defined, identified and assessed in contemporary dance. She is examining the validity of standardised domain general psychological tests of creativity within the domain of movement creation. Lucie lectures in performance psychology at Bucks New University has undertaken dance psychology research at Trinity Laban, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and Amsterdam School of the Arts. Lucie’s previous posts include research assistant in the Cognitive Neuroscience Research Group at the University of Surrey. Lucie also serves on the student committee for the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science.
